Custom web applications

Beyond spreadsheets.Built for your team.

Bring scattered records, calculations and approvals into an application built around your process. We build new tools and improve existing software so your team can manage its daily work in one place.

Built around your workflow

Where is everyday work getting harder?

Move beyond shared spreadsheets

Bring records, tasks and their status into one place. We build an interface around the way your team works, with clear responsibilities and access for the people who need it.

Make complex information usable

Manage product details, documents and relationships without juggling separate files. We structure the information and the checks needed to keep it useful as it grows.

Support your own process

Turn a process that standard tools cannot quite handle into a practical workflow. From calculations and approvals to reports and exports, we agree what your team needs and build around it.

Improve an existing application

Keep what works and address what slows people down. We review the current system, plan changes and data migration where needed, and connect it to the tools you already use.

Relevant experience

Built for real work.Developed over time.

A factory application for production calculations and a platform for complex product data. Both came from agency engagements, with our role described in each example.

Manufacturing · agency-led project, built solo

Production-support software

A factory web application for calculating and recording production recipes, tracking changes and exporting reports. Built with role-based access and an audit trail, and packaged as a single program designed to run on the company’s own infrastructure.

  • Go / React
  • SQLite
  • Single-file deployment

Product-information platforms

Long-term development of a product-information and asset platform: modelling product data, importing information from multiple sources and making it available to downstream systems. The work included adapting the platform as data sources and business needs changed.

  • PIM
  • Drupal / MongoDB
  • API imports

A manageable path forward

Start with the process. Build what matters.

  1. Understand the work

We walk through the current process with you: who uses it, where information lives and what gets in the way. We agree what the application needs to do and whether a custom build is the right approach.

  2. Build a useful first version

We define a focused scope and review the key screens and workflows with you. We build in stages, checking the logic, permissions and data handling with realistic examples.

  3. Put it to work and improve it

We plan deployment, any data migration and the handover to your team. Documentation and an agreed support plan make room for fixes and improvements as people start using the application.

Questions

Common questions.

What technology stack do you use for custom web applications?

We choose the stack to fit the problem and how the software will be hosted. Typically we use Go or PHP (including Drupal when rich editorial workflows are needed) on the backend, React and TypeScript for interactive interfaces, and PostgreSQL, SQLite or MongoDB for data storage.

Can the application run on our own server or factory network without cloud dependencies?

Yes. You do not need a complex cloud setup or a dedicated DevOps team to run custom software. For internal and industrial tools, we can package the entire application — backend, React interface and database engine — into a single self-contained binary or Docker container that runs on your own server.

How do you make sure complex calculations or spreadsheet formulas are translated accurately?

We start by mapping your existing spreadsheets, edge cases and operational rules with the people who use them daily. Core calculations — such as production recipes, pricing or compliance checks — are written as deterministic, unit-tested code with role-based permissions, audit logs, and PDF or Excel exports.

Can you take over, fix or extend an application built by another team?

Yes. Many of our engagements start with an inherited codebase that has become slow, fragile or hard to change. We audit the architecture, fix root-cause stability bottlenecks (such as runaway background jobs, memory leaks or slow queries), add test coverage around critical flows, and then build new features safely.

Will we be locked into working only with you?

No. We build on standard, widely known technologies (Go, PHP, React, TypeScript, SQL, Docker) rather than proprietary frameworks, and document what we build, so your internal team or another engineering partner can always read, run and maintain the system.

Let’s talk about your workflow

What would make your team’s work easier?

Tell us what you do today, which tools you use and where things get difficult. You don’t need a finished specification to start the conversation.

Rafał will reply personally to clarify your needs and suggest a starting point: a scope of work or an initial technical review.

Privacy

This notice explains what personal data reaches us through roundpanda.tech, why we process it and what rights you have.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Round Panda Technologies Rafał Pakuła, based in Szczecin, Poland (NIP 8522685691). For anything concerning personal data, write to hello@roundpanda.tech.

What we collect and why

When you send the enquiry form we receive your name, your email address, your message and, if you provide it, a website address. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and to continue the conversation about your project. Providing the data is voluntary, but we cannot reply without it. We do not send a newsletter and we make no automated decisions about you.

Legal basis

We process the data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the form against spam (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who else handles the data

We use hosting, server and email providers (Cloudflare, Hetzner, Proton) that process data on our behalf. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

Transfers outside the EEA

Enquiries are stored on a server in the European Union. Proton is based in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection. Cloudflare operates globally; where technical data leaves the European Economic Area, this happens under the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as the correspondence continues and, after it ends, until any related claims become time-barred. If you ask us to delete your data earlier, we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing and to receive it in a portable form, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, write to hello@roundpanda.tech. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO).

What the website stores in your browser

The website uses no cookies for analytics or advertising. The only thing we save in your browser is your chosen theme (light or dark). We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not fingerprint individual visitors. The form is protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information for that purpose; Cloudflare’s own privacy policy is linked in the form widget.

Server logs

Like any website, the infrastructure records basic technical data about requests, including IP address, time and browser type. These records are used only for security and diagnostics.
